Chai-Spiced Salted Caramel Slice

What's better than a classic salted caramel slice? A chai-spiced salted caramel slice of course! Infuse the gooey caramel with Prana Chai and you've got a brand new tasty morning tea or afternoon treat!
INGREDIENTS
Base:
  • 3/4 Cup Plain Flour
  • 120g Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
Caramel:
  • 50g Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Golden Syrup 
  • 1 Tbsp Prana Chai 
  • 1 Tin Condensed Milk
Topping:
  • 200g Dark Chocolate
  • 20g Butter
  • Sea Salt 
HOW TO MAKE
  1. Combine base ingredients until crumbly and press into a rectangle baking tin. Bake in oven on 160 degrees for 15 min.
  2. Combine butter, golden syrup and Prana Chai in a small pot. Bring to the boil. Add tin of condensed milk and boil for 2 minutes. 
  3. Strain caramel mixture to remove infused Chai. 
  4. Pour caramel mixture onto base and bake on 160 degrees for 8-10 minutes until bubbly and golden
  5. Melt dark chocolate and butter over double boil. Pour melted chocolate over the top of the caramel and sprinkle with sea salt. 
  6. Set in fridge overnight.
