: What makes you alive?
I am completely obsessed with food! I love it! I love cooking, eating, developing recipes, taking photos of food, dining out, trying new foods; it’s seriously just my favourite thing and gets me so excited. I’m also completely in love with my kitty, Evie, too.
: Words you live by?
Life’s too short for bad food.
: When was the last time you cried and why?
Not that long ago as I always cry when I cut onions! I actually don’t mind it as I can really let out my emotions haha.
: The strange thing about you?
I am obsessed with cats. If I’m not looking at pictures of food, I’m looking at pictures of cats.
: How can people find you and your update?
: Who’s your IG crush & why?
I absolutely adore @halfbakedharvest, @gatherandfeast, @talinegabriel and @georgeats. They all have such beautiful food, styling and the most inspiring imagery. I always want to dive into whatever they post and I love that they all have a healthy balanced approach to their eating.
: What do you like the most?
I love the initial aroma of the tea. When I opened the package it smelt SO good! I couldn’t wait to taste it!

- Turmeric : Sunshine in a cup
Prana Chai Recipe
Easy Breakfast : Chai Poached Pears
“Chai has been traced to the Hindu natural healing system ‘ayurveda’ which prescribes specific herbs to aid with certain body ailments. The spice blend that I have used is called Prana Chai is made locally in Melbourne and served at many cafes. I love the warm sweet taste of a chai latte if I’m not feeling like a coffee. Rather than being dry, the spice blend is wet and the flavour of the spices infuses really quickly. This blend contains Black Ceylon tea, Australian bushland honey, cinnamon, cardamon, star anise, peppercorns, cloves and fresh ginger. The spicy chai flavour works perfectly with the soft pear flesh once it is cooked.” - the macadames
This recipe can be served warm or cold, either alone or with yogurt or oats
What you need:
- Vegetable peeler
Ingredients (serves 3):
- 3 x pears
- 3 x tablespoons of prana chai tea blend
- Peel the pears leaving the stems intact
- Boil enough water the cover the pears add chai tea blend
- Add the pears to the water and poach for 45 minutes or until soft
Storage: Can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days.
